english vocabulary : ginger

Ok, right. En français, le roux est une base de béchamel et en anglais, ginger c'est du gingembre.
Dans les deux cas, on est loin de la flamboyante couleur qui inonde les écrans depuis quelques mois et qui me suit depuis toute petite quand ma meilleure copine était une véritable rousse caramel clair. Jamais compris les remarques désobligeantes et soupirs navrés à l'évocation de cette couleur so péchue. Jamais imaginé qu'il pourrait être dommage que l'un de nos enfants soit roux.
